America Was Designed To Be An All-White Nation Essay Sample

It is evident that the history of the Blacks rendered them vulnerable in all the early civilized nations by them being salves, sold, and treated as property. In the drafting of the original constitution, and the declaration of the American independence, it is clear that there was no intent, even by implication to make the Negros at that time and their descendants there after citizens of the country. The Negros having been bought and owned as property, in the formulations of the constitution, the right to hold property, including the slaves of the citizens was upheld. Such confirmed the fact that the American never wanted to grant the Negros a chance to be full citizens. The American wanted to make an All-White state with Negros and other minorities as slaves or non-citizens that serve the Whites. Considering the two legislation during the declaration of independents that allowed importing, and selling of slaves into America as well as respecting the right of ownership of such slaves by taking them back to the owner if found (Benjamin Howard, 1857) is a clear indication of the intention to hold the Negros as slaves as long as it takes. The Whites never envisaged the abolition of salve trade or even the possible fight for freedom and legal recognition by the slaves.
There was a strict rejection from some of the leaders towards expansion of the American State towards Mexico. The main reason was that, some of the American leaders felt that it was not right to include the Mexicans among the United States. The same case happened to Indians i.e. Americans did not want them in their country. Such is strong evidence that the initial desire of the Americans was to consolidate an All-White community. The continued misuse, racial profiling, and animosity that existed and to some extent still exists between the Whites and the Negros indicated the original bitterness of the Whites towards the Negros.
