Postmodernism is a movement which began in the late-20th-century movement in the arts and architecture after criticism on modernism. Postmodernism focuses on culture, architecture, philosophy, history, and economics among other things. Postmodernism is often used in cases of deconstruction and post structuralism because its usage it gained popularity at a time when the 20th c post- structural thought was taking place.
Doctor Atomic is an opera which was composed by John Adams an American by the contemporary American composer. The opera focuses on the stress and anxiety experienced by the people of Los Alamos after the first atomic bomb was being prepared. Dr. Atomic achieves its postmodernism in the sense that t is complex and expansive and political. The buildings used in the movie also suggest its post modernismness.
Dr. Strangelove on the other hand a landmark movie is filled with satire. The movie satirizes the military institution together with the Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) doctrine in a master way. Surprisingly the movie was produced at the time which Cold War was at its peak, immediately after the missile crisis of Cuban and the assassination of Kennedy. Apparently, in the film George Scott appears as solid as Turgidson and he is involved in bizarre facial expressions.  He is not just a buffoon but George Scott plays the role of the America's advanced tactical thinking at that moment. Additionally, Peter Sellers is riotous in his multiple roles. Peter Sellers’ President Muffley is an eerie illustration of Adlai Stevenson even as he is depicted to be relatively petulant even no matter the circumstances; he continues to be in command of the war room. Dr. Strangelove manages to satirize the leaders and assumes that its viewers are intelligent enough to understand the humor of the piece, which is exaggerated or understated.
