As I Look Down To My Home, I Could Not Help But Say The Words Aloud Essay Samples
“December 24, 2050: The Christmas Eve Present.”
It is the first day of the Christmas and the start of winter holidays. A well-deserved break from a hectic schedule of the college life. I am up early but the thought of sleeping until late afternoon especially when there is no one to disturb is lingering. The bubble of thought pops with the crackling voice of Walter, my robotic intelligent butler. “Sir, the bathroom floor is preheated and water is ready for your shower”. I opt for coffee first and then shower. I order Walter to make some coffee and my favorite cupcakes. Walter clicks a few buttons on its right arm. The coffee maker comes to life and brews a fresh pot of coffee. The oven automatically heats up, gets the ingredients on its tray and produces two fresh hot cupcakes topped with delicious cream. The breakfast restores my energy. The hot water shower freshens me up. I am set to explore the city in my electric flying car. Walter summons a chauffeur for driving me around the NewYork City. I watch for the millionth time in awe, as the robotic chauffeur is teleported onto my portico.
The ride interrupts, as the mailbox on the side of the portico come to life. A Hologram of a beautiful delivery girl emerges. A female crackling sound with the same distinctive electronic format like that of Walter announces a shipment for me. I see a flying drone appear at the doorstep of my house. A packet is tele transport ted by the drone on to my mailbox. I open the mailbox and look upon something that seems like tickets to me. To my joy and surprise, they are the tickets for the evening flight to Sunshine - a space hotel on the planet moon.
“Enjoy your Christmas Eve. Have a wonderful holiday. Love Mum!”
It is already afternoon, and departure of the space flight is approaching fast. I rush back inside the house, pack the essentials and back onto my flying car with the robotic chauffeur waiting obediently for my command. A robotic voice asks me for directions. I give the address of flight center from where spaceships depart for the moon. I look upon as the robot enters the address and sets the automated navigation system of the car. The car lifts horizontally into the air as its engines thrust it upwards silently. The safety gates close, and a slow hum of Mozart starts playing in the background. I voice command to change the music, and it plays some old tracks from the past of a popular singer Enrique Iglesias. As I enjoy the music of yesteryears, I see the car merge into heavy traffic in the space at an altitude of 1050 ft. The flight center is at a distance of 3500 miles and 30 minutes post boarding the car at my NewYork home, I reach my destination.
The London flight center for spaceships is a delightful site with spaceships hovering all over. There is an hour left for my flight, so I stroll around the flight center museum, admiring the old technology airplanes like Concord, Sukhoi, MiG, Blackbird and Boeing.
The tap of a holographic image of a sweet flight attendant startles my exploration into the history as she informs me of my departing flight. I hurry into the boarding zone, display my tickets and embark upon the spaceship named ZetaX10. ZetaX10 is an Intergalactic cruiser with a seating capacity of 50 people. The huge metallic legs sprout from the sides giving it the looks of a giant spider. It has safety-pods, hypersleep chambers along with dining and a recreational area. Neon lights flicker through the glass windows into the cosmic star-studded darkness of the space. It is the start of the 10-hour flight journey to the moon, the start of my Christmas Eve gift.
ZetaX10 reaches the outer surface of the moon onto a space hub called Moonland where all spaceships need to halt. Moonland is an intermediary stop for all tourists where some important sanitation and health checks happen. The health check up was quick and easy. A robotic attendant escort me to the next phase of my journey where I embark onto a space elevator. The space elevator transports from the outer space of the moon to the inner space station inside the planet's atmosphere. As I disembark on moon, I get a flying taxi that would be my ride to the hotel Sunshine. The taxi takes me through the moon's landscape as I see gigantic artificial walls that create an inner atmosphere filled with oxygen. Lush green meadows, flowing rivers of water and large skyscrapers adorn the surface of the moon. No wonder that a million people have already visited and enjoyed a vacation at this planet.
I reach Sunshine, which is vibrant and full of energy. Excited people on vacation, honeymoon couples, and cheerful children adorn the space hotel. I checked into my room to freshen up and get ready to enjoy the exciting view from Hotel Sunshine.
After 10 minutes, I find myself into the elevator to Hotel Sunshine’s 100th floor rooftop presenting a scenic view of the Earth. Illuminated the Earth looks splendid even than the moon.
Thank You! Thank You, Mom! ,for the most wonderful Christmas gift ever.
