Las Casas can be termed as an Icon who was against ill treatment of the native people in Spain and ending of slave trade. Additionally he is among the few individuals who led to world transformation leading to the “New World”. He is one of the individuals who challenged laws that accepted Indians to be used to what amounted to slave; the asencomienda system. Due to his pressure he was able to create a lot of tension within the government that led to it giving in as result of fear.

The increasing population of Latinos Catholic is alarming and has a great influence on the future church. The Latino Catholic believes that they have seen or experienced divine healing and direct revelation of God. They are therefore characterized by spirit filled forms of Christianity. The increase in population means that immigration will be very high. This will influence the culture of other people despite the fact that such manifestation will take time before it becomes a reality.

In my opinion I believe that there is no glass ceiling in other religious traditions since gender equality in religion is being realized. The acceptance of women leaders with different traditions is being realized. This is based on the fact that gender equality is acknowledged norm, in both culture and theology. Women are therefore involved in different activities such as acting as creative writers of spirituality, activists for social justice among other sociological roles.
