Question 1. Answer. The breakfast experience as an adult is quite different from the times that I was a child. Differences in family backgrounds bring about the differences, as we tend to interact with people with different cultures.
Question 2.Answer. The second shift is a term that is used to refer to the additional housework that women perform in the house that men are not involved in. the work is generally unpaid.
Question 3. Answer. It is easier to quantify paid work done outside home or childcare as it is easy to measure in time that one has spent working on that job. Some of the suggestions of measuring the work performed at home include the time that one spends working on the chores and the childcare.
Question 4. Answer. My time pattern will definitely change when I have children. The time that is spent mostly in leisure will be reduced to the increased work responsibilities. Additionally, my time has already changed due to the extra responsibilities that I have been given than when I was a child.
Question 5. Answer. Gender, upbringing, and income affects how the division of unpaid work is done in that women tend to be naturally judged to do the housework while men do the difficult tasks. Income plays a huge role in that an individual with high income can hire someone to perform the unpaid work. Upbringing tends to be about some cultures in that in some cultures, men are not allowed to do the kitchen chores and childcare duties.
Question 6. Answer. Employers could reduce workfamily conflicts through the selective recruitment of workers in those family members should not be hired by the same organization. Another method is the use of increased maternal and paternal leaves to increase the time that they spend helping at home.
Question 7. Answer. Some of the limitations of the Family and Medical Leave Act include its non-applicability to all employers; one requires to have worked for at least 1250 hours in a period of not less than 12 months and employers who employ less than 50 employees.
