The executives of Chipotle Organization employ the use of a corporate strategy as expressed by their CEO in their general supply chain management activities. The CEO of the organization, Steve Ells, expresses the vision statement of the organization as: “Creating an operational efficient restaurant with an aesthetically pleasing and distinctive interior setting” and “offering focused services to people with an aim of creating a friendly environment within the organization”.
The company employs the use of a corporate strategy where the executives are mainly focused maintaining high levels of food quality. Dealing with food in such case involves ensuring that fresh and high-quality ingredients that are fresh are constantly supplied by the company. Chipotle did not obtain their ingredients directly from the farmers but used suppliers. In this case, they use a strategy that can create a specific supply chain system that can be easily accounted for in the end.
The quality assurance department in action established and monitored the quality and safety of the food that was obtained from the suppliers to ensure that all their consumers were safe. The strategy employed also increased the competitive ability of the organization at the same time.
In terms of the financial potential objectives that could see the organization grow to higher limits, various methods could be applied. The owners through the management could use the internal workforce to empower and motivate them by offering them small amounts of shares within the organization. By doing this, they will be able to maintain them. In addition, they will work hard to ensure that they grow the percentage they have been offered at the same time growing the bigger share of the company.
