Coping With Stress Essay
In today’s contemporary society, stress is evident in several domain life such as work, learning, and home. Daily juggling diverse demands in these areas leaves most people stressed-up. These forms of stressed if not coped with promptly may affect the quality of health one lives. To deal with stress, individuals have consciously and unconsciously formulate various ways of coping as essential life-serving techniques.
In order to manage stress, personally, quite often I first identify the underlying factor behind the stress that I am experiencing. On the realization of the main cause of stress, my initial step is always to pray and ask God to provide me with strength to surpass the situation. I often do this since pray possess special form energy between human life and the immediate environment. The most second initiative that I often perform is to share my stressing problem with a trusted member, this can be one of my family members especially my mother, the local pastor and one of my closest friends. These people in most circumstances have provided me with substantive advices that enables me to cope with the situation. The other method on how I cope with stress is that I often takes a break and move to a quiet place where I could listen to myself. Even though this method is considered dangerous by majority of psychiatrists, it often provides me with a chance to listen to myself and understand where I could have messed up. Lastly, I perform some of the aerobic exercises in order to release tension build-up within.
In conclusion, these strategies have worked out well for the last few years. However, I am ready to learn other ways that may help me to cope better in this continues stressful world.
