RESEARCH PAPER OUTLINE
Introduction
The current trend in the United States business world shows a situation whereby progressivism is on the verge of breaking down. In any economy, large corporations have a significant influence on the economic success of the nation and may take this advantage to manipulate the middle class. By breaking up the unions that advocate the rights of the middle class, the corporations are not being fair.
Statement of the problem
Unions play a crucial role in ensuring sanity in the business world thus they should remain intact. In any case, they should be strengthened to continue with their good work. This paper aims at looking into the effects of breaking up of the unions by corporations on the middle class.
Purpose and Scope of the Work
Majority of the people who drive the economy are the middle-class that comprises the majority of the citizens in the United States. Even the large corporations are dependent on the middle class for services such as labor and market promotion. In addition, the middle class make up the majority of the consumers of the corporation’s products. The unions guard the consumer and employee rights, and, therefore, any attempt to bring the unions down will affect the middle class. There is a need to address the impact of the breaking up of the unions on the middle class since they will be the most affected.
Sources and Methods of Data Collection
A comprehensive research needs to be carried out by the corporations and also the middle class in the society. Primary data will be collected through interviewing the management of three large companies and the middle class with a sample size of 500 individuals. Secondary data will be gathered from the library texts and the internet.
