1) What is being attempted? (Why was the play written?)
The play was written in an attempt to fuse theater and dance together. Music and dance have been used in the production to combine words, and songs to enhance the dramatic effect achieved by the play. Furthermore, the production has attempted to use music and dance to increase dramatic action and to evoke different emotions in the play’s audience. The play also attempts to increase the dramatic effect the actors have by introducing rhythm and movement. Dance in the production tells a dramatic story that the audience can easily understand. The play also brings together different dancing routines and styles by combines them to form a seamless production. 2) Was the attempt worth wild? (was it worth it to go to the play? Was it worth the production?)
Yes, the attempt was worth wild since it was worth it to go to the play. The entire production was entertaining and gripped my attention from start to finish. In addition, the production was able to effortlessly combine dance and theater and make it very entertaining. The show also contained 14 different parts where the actors performed different dancing styles. This made the production enjoyable since members of the audience had the chance to enjoy the different types of dances on stage. Lastly, the production was worth it since the actors were excellent dancers.
3) Was the attempt successful? Yes, the attempt was successful. The first reason for this observation is that the show was directed excellently. The actors in the production were very graceful in the dancing and storytelling. Secondly, music and dance in the play have been meshed together perfectly in order to advance the disposition, theme and drama within the production. Other different aspects of the production such as lighting, music, and dance choreography were perfect and played an important role in making the attempt successful.
