“What you do not wish for yourself, do not do to others.”

Confucius
Confucius philosophy in a larger sense revolves around human life, centering the discussion of his thoughts on ethics. Confucius says that every person is responsible for his action and his behavior and for how he or she treats others. He also believed in fate, but our determination leads us to what we get.
Confucius acknowledges that his teachings are not his own but are handed down by the antecedence or ancestors to him and, therefore, he teaches his students to acknowledge what he or she learns from others. In fact, it seems what Confucius says right because a person never lives and creates in a void he or she learns from his or her surrounding or from his society. Therefore, how a theory or teaching would be a person’s own? In his theory or teaching, the contribution of other is evident.
Confucius’s concept of “loving” others and “compassion” are important factors of his teachings of ethics. Confucius teaches his follower to be honest and sincere while dealing with others and denounces artful speech or manner. Why Confucius teaches not to use artful speech or manner is that it not only leads to self-exaggeration but also to falsehood or false feelings. He, therefore, says that, be “simple in manner”. One should always give importance to the desires of his or her parents as well as the desires of siblings than to his or her own.
Confucius teachings especially his thoughts or teachings of ethics seems to be for the present time because in modern time ethics has almost vanished, and every person is thinking about his or her desire. Also, the academies should teach the philosophy of teaching to reinstall ethical values into the modern society.
