Essay On Fund Address

I love my Macbook. I don’t love it because it is Apple or what I can do with it.. I love it because of the shape and the manufacturing process that it takes to get the final product. Most people are puzzled by this when I say it outloud. However, I find that the extrusion process, the milling and the simplicity of the product to be fantastic and I want to learn more how to build such an eloquent process. Why I am telling you this? As a scholarship body you could help me become a Manufacturing Engineer.
Before coming to Richland College to study Manufacturing Engineering I lived in Hanoi?, Vietnam with my family. As a 18 year old girl/boy I had no idea that there was anything called manufacturing engineering. One day my Uncle/father/brother/sister bought a Popular Mechanics magazine home and I started to learn about the process of building a Macbook with an aluminum frame. I looked through it about 50 times cutting out the pictures and imagining the process in real life. For me at the time it seemed not to be so different than baking a cake. You have a process involved, you mix the things together, iterate, you make the process LEAN so you can make a number of different cakes at once with less process, and finally master the method so you always bake the same cake every time. Sometime later I started learning more about process manufacturing and I convinced my friend’s father to take me to a factory he managed. It was interesting to learn he started with only one machine to make XXXX and now he had several. After those two brief introductions I knew I wanted to find a good school where I could learn everything for becoming a manufacturing engineer. I left my family to come to Dallas to study.
Currently, I am a sophomore as an international student at Richland College where I am working hard as seen by my high GPA to achieve my dream of becoming a manufacturing engineer. I am planning on building a long term career in manufacturing engineering where I am driven to be the best of what I do and take on new challenges to build my expertise over time. I would gauge my future success by how much time and money I saved and made for the company. After gaining the knowledge from this program and learning how to develop great products in the industry I plan to become more independent and take a risk to build my own company. For me I believe that you should fund people that are passionate to learn and have the drive to succeed in school and in life. I hope from this letter I have shown you that I have 120% of these attributes.
