On the other hand, CP-809,101 is found to have good antagonist-like activity against the 5-HT2A receptor by inhibiting agonist-induced head twitch, which is one of the important processes for antipsychotic agents. Moreover, head twitch response is also used to check the hallucinogenic activity and CP-809,101 is not showing this activity.
b. Conditioned Avoidance Test. CP-809,101 is helpful in the inhibition of conditioned avoidance response, and in this regard, it is better than clozapine and MDL-100,907. This test shows that the compound is helpful in preparing the patient to avoid behaviors that can result in some unpleasant or unlikely outcomes.
c. Novel object Recognition test. CP-809,101 is helpful in improving memory performance and novel object or process recognition, especially in the animal model.
