Essay On My First Car

One of the lifetime dreams that people have is driving. Other than driving, people admire having different cars. I had a dream to drive when I was still young. I always wished and desired to own a Toyota Mark X. Hopefully enough, I was lucky to have Toyota Mark X as my first car in 2008. Manufactured in Japan, the car was the most luxurious thing I thought I owned. It had a 253 horsepower with a 2.5 LGR series v6 engine (Toyota Mark X). The engine was the major aspect I loved about the car. With variable valve timing, the engine had a gasoline direct injection that was the ultimate cause of speed that I preferred. Further, the car was an all-wheel drive that spiced up the five-speed automatic transmission (Toyota Mark X).
Notably, there are many reasons as to why I decided to acquire the Toyota Mark X. These circumstances include the fact that I am a sportsperson and hence I needed a sports-oriented car to provide me with speed and comfort. Further, the car was a clear show of luxury which every other person would dream to have. However, the most compelling condition that led to the acquisition of the car is the fact that I had a lifetime dream of driving a Toyota Mark X. It was my number one priority whenever I had a chance and opportunity to acquire a model car. More significantly, I quite had the capacity and ability to acquire the car despite the fact that I had a craving for it in the past few years before its acquisition. Sometimes people have dreams that never come true because of their lack of capacity to initiate the same or the capability to ensure that the dreams come true. However, I had to do everything I could to see my dreams come true.
When I acquired the Toyota Mark X, it was still brand new. Notably, the car am talking of is the new model that was first produced in Japan. The car I bought was a successor of the original Toyota Mark II, a model that had initially been introduced in North America in 1968 (Toyota Motors). The car was a four-door vehicle with FR layout plus two exhaust pipes (Toyota Motors). I bought a maroon car because I thought it as one of my favorite colors. Further, the color was striking given the fact that it was bought majorly for sporting. With a wheelbase of 2850 mm or 112.2 inches, the car was 186.4 inches long plus a height of 56.5 inches and a width of 68.9 inches (Toyota Mark X). Its net weight was 1570 kilograms or 3461 lbs (Toyota Mark X). This were just but some of the features that my first car had when I acquired it.
Given the fact that I was using the car for sporting activity and most of the outings, it served for quite a long time for six years. Despite the fact that the car was not completely out of service, it would no longer serve me when it came to sporting and outings. This is especially given the fact that the car would no longer go for a long distance without breaking down. However, it was useful for the short distance outings and domestic errands. Nevertheless, a new model of the car, which is a successor of the original Mark X, is already out with a few modifications (Toyota Motors). More significantly, am looking forward to acquiring a new model especially given the fact that the Toyota Mark X has already served its purpose, and it is significant if I try out another model to avoid being monotonous.
