I believe that such model would be very beneficial to communities, as there are hundreds of people with various problems and situations. With the help of this very model, people would be able to analyze and to get the important and needed help from community services, as Angela Blanchard has told. However, I could only name one downside of such model, as a lot of time could be spent analyzing and finding the right solution to particularly problem. Unfortunately, when I grew up our community was not aware of such model. Angela Blanchard inspired me with her speech, she shows that with little effort it is possible to do magnificent things, it is only important to be on the beam.

Governance in the community could be much more than it is right now. We should have stronger communities. It is possible to be involved to help people, to change people’s lives. There are a lot of issues that I care about. Such global problems as wars, global warming etc. could be named by millions of people, as well as me. But real issue that bothers me is unfairness in our world, such problem that very hard to deal with and solve, as I am not a Batman. I tried to help poor people materially, I tried to donate money in charities, I tried to be as much civic engaged as it is possible. In a nutshell government is the elected body of elected people. This elected body has right to make different decisions and basically rule people. And the way how they use the established system to run the state affairs is governance.

Participatory budgeting is seemed to be a very promising and effective model of governing and ruling. It is possible to say that there are a lot of positive effects such as: everyone could share his or her own feelings, and say what he thinks is important. It is also possible to say that with the help of participatory budgeting, people from all spheres of life could be involved in ruling, and no aspect of city’s life would be missed or omitted. I think it is possible to try applying such model here, and seeing, what results it could bring. However, one may say that according to this video, participatory budgeting proves its effective usage and with enough effort could lead to positive results.

The last video shows us that not only human being have such qualities as fairness, reciprocity, empathy, cooperation, but animals as well. It was very interesting to observe, how usual for us things, were performed by monkeys and elephants. However, how often do we sympathized or cooperate with someone? I think that it is essential for people not to forget these traits and not to lose them. During my service experience, I tried to show my empathy and reciprocity with the help of gestures, and sooth and calm speech. I tried to listen to people, not just hear them, but listen, understand and feel with them.
