Example Of Cowboys City Essay

The subject that I chose for my photo project is the Cowboys city, and my pictures were taken in the Fort Worth Stockyards in Texas – one of the main entertainment industry centers of the USA. I decided to choose this topic because of a number of reasons. Firstly, I have always been keen on Wild West, and during my life I have been always looking for any new adventurous wild places, especially that have a great historical background. As it is known the Texas Republic was conquered by the Americans and joined to the United States in 1845 after Mexican-American War and since that the clash of two different cultures has happened. Secondly, I am really into Hollywood westerns – binge drinkers, shootings, chases, executions and other amusements definitely attract me. Moreover, the great impression on me was made by Quentin Tarantino’s movie named Django Unchained that acquaintances a viewer with Old West Texas of 1858.
Speaking about picture taking process I can say that it was incredibly nice place to work with the camera due to the pleasant climate and excellent lighting. The photos are not in need of being edited by any programs because they convey the meaning without additional treatments. Also, talking about order arrangement, I put the photos randomly as they create the whole picture, regardless of their order.
I suppose that these pictures make up a special photographic composition that lets the recipient feel truly wild atmosphere by viewing them. The Fort Worth Stockyards consists of a plenty of different entertainment venues and shopping centers, and this place is often called “Where the West begins”. As far as you come to the historic district of Fort Worth you can soak up the real western atmosphere and plunge into the Wild West.
