McDonald's Corporation – is an American Corporation, the world largest fast-food chain until 2010, which works on the franchise system. Assortment of restaurants includes burgers, sandwiches, French fries, desserts, drinks and so on. It should be remembered that, since “McDonald's” is a franchise company, menus in different countries are left to the discretion of the companies which licensed the rights to the franchise. Among McDonald's key partners in doing its business can be named the following: McDonald's restaurants which hold franchise to operate their business, Coca-Cola as a beverage supplier, toy manufacturers that produce toys for “Happy Meals” and others. Key activities of the Company may be characterized as selling self-prepared food and beverages with a previous portioning and boxing them, delivery of food in some countries to the customer and conducting professional marketing. Among values that McDonald's offers are: quality and tasty food of various choice, fun time spending in its restaurants, and convenience while eating at McDonald's. Customer Relations are noted with welcoming staff, original McDonald's (for example, Ronald McDonald character), informing of customers about recent updates and new dishes, possibility of buying online in some world regions. McDonald's aims its business on families, youngsters as well as elderly, business people and corporate clients, for example, schools. Among key resources of the Company I would name employees, brand of the Company, raw food needed for preparation of meals and Company`s restaurants. Channels or places where McDonald`s operates its business are mostly restaurants and malls. The company directs its money spending (in other words, its cost structure) on salaries of its workers, maintenance of its restaurants, purchasing of raw food, marketing and of course advertisement. Finally, it receives revenues from sales at its restaurants, franchise-licensed restaurants and from entertainment of kids (for example, Birthday parties).
