The Lifestyle Global News Network is a network that specializes in developing programs that are aimed at a wide range of demographic population. When it comes to the question what the network’s target audience or population is, the answer is it varies. This is because LSN is a network that makes profit by riding in trends. Just like trends in fashion, entertainment, travel, and lifestyle, trends in demographic population also changes and as a network that makes profit by riding in these trends, regularly changing their target audience and or population is an important key to success.
These trend predictions assist the company by helping it position for the possible trend changes in the future. If for example, the company was able to successfully ride Trend A (for the sake of giving example), and for some reason its analysts have seen signs that the existing trend is starting to reverse and shift into a new trend, that is towards Trend B, then it would be able to position itself early into Trend B so that it can also maximize profits as a result of riding that trend, just like what it probably did when it saw the trend going into Trend A.
If there are any ethical issues that must be addressed, that must be the non-selectiveness when it comes to audience or target population selection. There must be no cultural, communication, and ethnic barriers present so that everyone can be entitled to watch and or participate in the trend-based programs that the network offers.
