Cameron Smith emphasizes that understanding of the idea of the American Dream is very blurred in the eyes of young generation, and he is very concerned that due to this the original idea of the American Dream is simply getting lost, and shows his position that nowadays this idea is nothing more than a symbol of great past, and today the American Dream is actually nothing more than a simple dream.

Even though, the American Dream is something more philosophical and something that has no unified definition, I would like to disagree with the author of the article, because I strongly believe that the American Dream is good enough for both nowadays generation and future generations of Americans. The American Dream is the symbol of the United States nation, the symbol that is known all over the world. Moreover, there are plenty of people that can only dream about coming to United States to receive an opportunity to follow The American Dream.
Cameron Smith is trying to promote his idea that United States of America need new regulations and policies, but I’m afraid that these political innovations will fully destroy the main idea of the American Dream, as they will destroy its basis that is freedom. And in my opinion, this is completely unacceptable as this will contradict the main principle according to which United States of America were built.
My vision is very simple, and what I would like to say is that if the American Dream was good for previous generations it will also be good for our generation. The citizens of United States of America used to succeed in life following the idea of the American Dream. Since then there is nothing that have changed much, and I’m quite sure that the American Dream will remain to be needed until United States of America exist.
For me the American Dream is not just a dream, but a dream that comes true. It is not a secret that in order to implement this dream United States of America will need a lot of people who are full with patriotic feelings, and who are ready to take leadership position. Luckily there are plenty of young amazing Americans who will never give up their freedom, and who are ready to fight for their American Dream.
