However, the number of black students has increased but number of black teachers is decreasing. I stand with the argument that the lack of BME professors in higher education is not being discussed over public forums. For young black students looking towards education and university, this lack of black role models notifies them that there is no place for them. This is the issue which is being ignored for long in public discussions.
Discussion
Our public forums and public discussions are ignoring an important aspect of higher education system in our society. I agree with the argument that this issue is being missed in public discussions. Higher education experiences a ghastly absence of such differing qualities demonstrating that Black and minority ethnic (BME) teachers are only a few percent of total professors in higher education. Such ghastly insights highlight how our advanced education framework and its establishments are as yet experiencing race imbalance. The lack of discussion is also repressing the rights of black professors because this platform can be used to raise the issue in public discussions. As education is advancing the number of black people being educated is increasing. Despite of being educated they are given jobs in higher education institutes.
