RE: Response to complaint
We refer to your letter of complaint dated March 9, 2015. Thank you for your letter alerting us to the problem you had with our hotel during your stay from March 1 to March 8, 2015. We were experiencing a temporary shortage of staff at that time, thus we were unable to provide you with the level of service that you truly deserved. However, we have settled this issue and now are ready to receive you as our guest again.
We have spoken with our Vice President and unfortunately we are not allowed to reimburse you. Instead, we are ready to make our best attempt to regain your satisfaction with our resort by inviting you for a weekend stay at the hotel with a day excursion to the winery that you were not able to visit last time through our fault. We would ensure that your stay meets the highest standards possible. You can be sure that the amount of facilities and activities you get would exceed the sum of money you have requested.
We extend our own apologies for the inconvenience our hotel has caused you. And we appreciate your feedback as it will assist us in becoming better at what we do. It is our aim to retain you as a satisfied guest of The Ultimate Resort and Spa and we would like to serve you again.
