Development of such facility is the focus of this research with reference to healthcare in Miami FL. To achieve the objective, the research identifies a need for a healthcare facility development with reference to a specific hospital.

Miami FL has a number of healthcare facilities offering various health care. However, the increasing need for specialized treatments requires development of facilities that can adequately address the treatment needs in the area. In that respect, the research seeks to identify a facility that is in need of development as a means of enhancing its functioning to serve the growing demand. The research could also identify a facility that is missing or one that is not adequate to meet the demand. The services offered by the hospital include inpatient services such as heart diagnostic, heart surgery, cancer services as well as psychiatric care. Others are psychiatric services, women health, sports medicine, HIV-AIDS services and fitness center. The hospital also has family support services as well as community outreach services. However, the Hospital has limited capacity, and its cancer treatment services needs to be developed to feature advanced equipments and technologies that would enable it to partner with the cancer institute for research and treatments improvements.
