There are two aspects of quality: the distinct characteristics of something and the standard held by an object in comparison to others that fall within the same category. Quality in a business organization is also assessed in these parameters. To be considered as being of good quality service, an organization has to package itself well and offer top-notch competitive services that are satisfactory to their clients. Quality should not just be measured through customer satisfaction, but also through the manner in which the company manages its employees. McKinsey and Company is such an organization that is of quality and ranks high among its peers in management consultancy.
McKinsey and Company offers management and consultancy services to organizations across the world. They provide practical management solutions and also train top and junior level management. McKinsey and Company have incorporated responsible business practices, are environmentally conscious and also contribute to the growth of their employees (McKinsey and Company, 2015).
McKinsey and Company’s external customers are organizations to which they offer their consultancy services e.g. banks. Such companies use the company to improve their service delivery, revive failing businesses, train their staff to be efficient in their services, and incorporate best management practices (McKinsey and Company, 2015). To this effect, the company is expected to do an objective assessment of the company, make recommendations and monitor implementation. The company can exceed client’s expectations by surveying how well their recommendations have worked and whether the objective has been achieved.
The company has incorporated quality in its operations going by the services they offer, and from good ratings that they have received. They also use and develop modern technology for management. Based on the kind of organizations that have used them internationally, they do command trust. Credible sources like Forbes have also ranked McKinsey at the top.
