This report focuses on three stocks that I chose for my study. Based on expert analysis and market forces, I chose to focus on Google, Monster Beverage and Apple stocks. Over the period between 22nd January and 15th April, I observed the stocks and made necessary adjustments to suit market dynamics on the stocks. Below is a description about how each stock was selected.
Google (GOOGL)
According to data compiled and analyzed by Thompson Reuters and Wallstreet analysts the price target for Google shares is averagely $623 per share. This implies a potential rise of about 23% from the market price per share when I bought the share in January. Other speculators also gave a forecast of $565 which is still an 11% increase while more optimistic ones predicted a rise of 38% to $700. Either way Google stocks proved to be a worthwhile investment
Apple (AAPL)
Apple watch sales have already surpassed predicted sales this year and with the company announcing its results soon, the giant tech company proves to be an investor’s hub for success. Analyst Trips Chowdry estimates an increase of share process to about $178 per share. Similarly, with increased preorders, for the apple watch and the new iPhone 6, the price per share could rise by about 18% over the remaining two quarters.
Monster Beverage (MNST)
Since Monster Beverage attracted the attention of Coca- Cola, things have been bright for the soft drinks manufacturer. Coca- Cola bought 16.7% of Monster Beverage for $2.5 billion opening up the local company to international markets. Analysts forecast that the share price of Monster Beverage could rise by over 21%, after they release their financial results and future plans later in February. The shares were a good investment for the fund.
