The recognition through the biometric tools is very important, and the significance of these recognition tools cannot be avoided. The biometric authentication tools are used to verify the human and identify them on certain aspects. In this way, the criminal can be caught among the crowd of people. The verification through this tool helps in the prevention from the crimes and provides security to the people. The most efficient and widely accepted biometric verification tool is the biometrics of the iris of the human eye. Since, the false or errors are not possible in the case of the iris biometrics, therefore, this tool is accepted by the people involved in security issues (Abhishek & Suma, 2014).
The biometrics of iris is accurate and is most proficient for the identification of people in the environments where the fingerprints of the people have been worn out (Jaiswal et al., 2011). Consequently, only iris verification can be beneficial and provide accurate results. Iris scanners can regulate the videos while scanning . Hence, this is the additional characteristics. Iris biometrics devices are more capable and accurate as compared to the fingerprint identification devices. This is because, there are more characteristics in the iris which can be used as the means for the identification and conduct the match with another iris pattern (Supriya). The chances of errors are very rare in iris biometrics, and it is almost one in million acts. Banking, finance, and some other industries are keen for the adaptation of this technology in order to safe and correct transfer and withdrawal of money. Moreover, some prisons are incorporated with this technology in order to identify the inmates and the guards appointed for the prison (Sternstein, 2012).
In conclusion, it can be stated that though this technology utilizes much expense but provides the accuracy in biometrics authentication.
