Example Of Winter Day In Boston Essay

For me, winter is one of the most magical seasons of the year. I do not exactly enjoy the cold weather and lack of sunlight, but I really like the way snow covers everything around me and gives a great scope for my imagination. One of my most favorite settings for such a snowy day is a beautiful park with narrow paths and a row of benches covered in the snow. I am sure that this picture is the one that I am waiting for, when winter comes and the cold begins.
At once, I can imagine the chilly light wind, touching my chicks. It is not really cold, but gives a breath of light, of transparence. When feeling it, you understand that you are in the middle of something mysterious and important. Then there is the smell. The one of frozen mystery. It can be with different tints and aspects, and I am sure that every person can find something new in this smell, something that reminds him/her of a favorite fairy tale. The one that in childhood was the dearest to the heart.
And then comes the actual picture that we see when opening our eyes. A lot of snow lying around. For me the most important and filled with sense part of the landscape is always a bench, or a row of benches. I think that they are so appealing to me, because in the warm time of the year, I am used to looking for benches when I am tired, or just want to have a rest in some activity. It is certainly a symbol of tranquility, peace, and joy to me.
When there is snow all around me, there are usually no people sitting at the benches. They are covered in snow, and only it can have a rest on the benches. It adds to the peace and tranquility of the benches and the complete picture. It seems that everything is so peaceful around, that every part of the landscape is gathering strength, growing and having a great rest under the snow. In such a moment, we can understand how wisely everything is organized in nature. When the nature works all the year for the benefit of people and animals, in the time of winter, it takes a rest and gathers strength for the year that is to come. For people it is also important to have time for rest and not to forget that without such rest, it is impossible to live and develop properly.
Thus, this picture, this surrounding is really valuable for me. It means so much – all this tranquility, mystery and special silence. It is also great to be in this surrounding when the snow is falling from above. Then the mystery is really special and I feel as if I am in a picture of some great artist who is creating it right at the moment. In such a moment I feel so great that I have a chance to be a part of this picture. These are definitely unforgettable feelings. I receive a charge of energy in this surrounding, I understand how strong and beautiful our nature is and how I love life – how much there is in it that is worthy of attention and love.
