The present paper summarizes expenditure and revenues of the Douglasville Police Department. It discusses different sources of revenues and expenditures of the agency and how they influence political and public policies. In addition, recommendation for the alternative revenue sources has been provided in the paper.
Impact of the expenditures on revenues
The financial statement of the Douglasville Police Department reveals financial information of the agency. Douglasville Police Department is a public agency; government-funded that reports about the governmental activities. The treatment of expenditures on the revenues of the agency differs as the source of revenues of the agency is the government funds. The capital is reported as expenditures. The revenues of the Agency do not reflect the financial resources of the agency. Currently, the agency has deficit that means that the expenditures of the agency are higher than revenues. The agency can also offer long-term loans or debts to the public as an alternative for its revenue resource.
