Introduction

Conducting research on children and the young people forms a vital entity within the society. It can largely aid in advancing the understanding of how the children and the young people develop and live their lives. Hence, a contribution to the theoretical debates and the outcomes can be used to develop policies that can directly or indirectly impact their lives based on those researched and others within the same context. Based on the essence of the research on the children, it is significant for the researchers to develop an essential approach on the number of vital issues that arise in disseminating stages in the research. The report summarizes 15 hours of field observations in an Early Care Center.

Analysis

Learning environment is effective availed via quality planning with a spacious environment with 20 children in the room. In essence, the quality environment is based on the idea that plays avail the children with the opportunity to learn as they create, discover, discover and imagine. The analogy provided under this approach is aimed to examine if such children can be able to create social groups, challenge each other’s thinking, test out ideas and to build on the evaluation. The attractive bright color and vast decorations not only facilitates engagement of children but also avails a positive environment indulging the students towards creativity.
The teacher/students interactions are highly interactive. Some of the essential activities, to improve learning, include; using a range of strategies towards supporting learning through play, increasing engagement with the students through sustained shared conversations with the students towards expanding their thinking. Thinking should be supplemented by providing a balance between children led, children initiated, and educators supported teaching. The children are highly involved and engaged in class discussions. The teachers record the performance of the students on different performance assessments tools used on a daily basis while identifying the targeted needs of specific individual children who are beyond the similar children needs. Through the assessment outcomes, the teacher can identify on some of the need for the children hence enacting measures aimed at addressing these needs.
Lesson planning is vital towards incorporating students' needs in relation to the set objectives. Recording and evaluating the children’s prior experiences or learning is vital towards enacting effective measures aimed at addressing such needs. Based on the observations made, the teacher’s keeps records on the prior experiences enabling them monitor the performance of the students. Furthermore, these records incorporate the personal, linguistic, and also cultural aspects towards enabling the teachers effectively understand the needs of the students. In addition, varying strategic approaches were developed as stipulated in the vital requirements set by the governing authority. Such entities ensured that an interaction with the children to scaffold their learning was effective and within the set standards. It enhances the children’s physical, social or emotional development, and cognitive abilities of the children. These aspects form part of the lesson plans by the teachers and ensures that such needs form the core aspect on the on some of the activities conducted by the teachers.
Classroom management largely defines the success of the children in relation to acquiring the desired skills. The effectiveness of classroom management is reflected in the planning and the coordination of activities inside the classroom towards achieving the set objectives. In the Early Care Center, the teachers manage the children on a daily basis via simple rules that the children are required to master. These rules act as the guiding principle for children failing to follow them engaged on the essence of averting such mistakes in the future. The rules examine whether the nature of learning the environment impacts children performance through exploring some of the essentially attached entities. Exploring some of the vital aspects provided under learning environment entity. Establishing some of the resources attached in some of the learning environment and how they supplement on children wellbeing. Correlating the set health learning standards and some of the learning environments are some of the ways that the teacher managements the children. During a learning experience, the teacher groups the student in different sections such as class groups. The transition is carried out via the performance assessments aimed at evaluating the skills and knowledge of the students.
Academic language used by the teacher in the observation made was general words aimed at identifying general English words from GSL. The use of sentences containing several words and phrases is one of the examples depicting the use of the stipulated academic language. The development of language via teacher-child interactions was via engaging the students where the children were required to repeat the words or sentences after the teacher. On the other hand, under child-child interactions, the children were grouped in different groups of 4 and required to interact and identify some of the words such as; population and control among others.
Teaching strategies defines success of the children in relation to the set objectives. In the classroom settings observed, cooperation is highly values. Some of the resources are essential towards ensuring that the outcomes fall within the set learning and health standards with incentives such as the best group being some of the events facilitating cooperation. Lessons learned from the experience based on the plan, health, and safety, and continuity of learning lies in the need for creating learning environments. The learning environment that encourages children to explore, solve problems, and able to create and construct hence encouraging cooperation. The teacher’s interaction with the students such as compliments on individual students increases competition. The interaction affects the classroom environment as every child seeks to prove he/she is the best.
Teaching with technology is vital in the current technologically powered society. Providing materials such as digital technology enables the student’s access global connections and resources which encourages new thinking approaches as evident in the observed classroom. It indicates the need to encourage positive learning environments with essential materials that fosters hope, wonder and the knowledge of the natural world. As a result, the children gain a strong sense of identity where they get connected with and contribute to their world. The teachers and students use these tools that are highly organized. These tools encourage the students via creating a positive learning environment.
The assessment for children learning entails the process of gathering and analyzing data as evidence of the actions and understanding of the children. Based on the experience, assessment is an ongoing cycle that embraces planning, documentation and evaluation of the children learning. It enables the educators through a partnership with the families, the children, and other stakeholders to; effectively plan for the children current and the future learning, communicating with children learning and progress.

Conclusion

Theory and research connections between the observations presents a clear insight on the skill growth and development as an observer as discovered. It helps evaluate the effectiveness of the learning opportunities plus environments and the experiences offered. The experience depicted those educators who were able to develop assessments for learning outcomes and also providing support or assisting families towards accessing specialist help had positive impacts on early childhood development among others. Those educators, who failed to develop such assessment for learning's, failed to monitor effectively on individual student performance among other aspects as discovered. Some of the challenges observed requiring further research is on technology impact on children learning based on the identified negative reactions among children; likely to affect their performance.
