The Professor's name

The movie Food Inc. depicts the impact of the massive food production on consumers and reveals the truth about the process of industrialized food production. The final product is cheap and tasty. However, the majority of products have genetically modified ingredients that lead to unhealthy food. For example, corn and sugar are the main ingredients of almost every product. The reason for this is that they are cheap. Consumers are unaware of this fact, and the food industry skillfully hides it from the eyes of the public. The consequences of this mass food production are massive and impact on us severely. The dominance of corporations that produce meat and corn is strong and every individual farmer who chooses not to comply with their requirements is overrun. Farmers are lead into bankruptcy if they do not act according to the requirements from monopolistic seed production companies. The consumers are intentionally deceived to think that the food they are eating is good for them and that it comes from the true American farms.
The overall conclusion is that the movie Food Inc. managed to get into the root of the problems of mass food production. The fact that surprised me the most is that the entire food industry is lead by a few individual corporations and that everything origins from the same source. The profit is above everything including the health of the American population. The majority of consumers are unaware of the issues that exist with the food products that they eat and give their children. It seems that the world has become one market where the dominance over the most wanted sector, food production, is an exclusive right for a few individuals. The overall goal of these corporations is to dominate the market, to create regulations and law that would go in their favor. The American farmers and cowboys have become just a marketing trick to attract new consumers and this move reveals the veil of this sad truth about the food production.
