As Islam is tightly linked with all fields of life it has its laws to be followed and its judgements named as Sharia. Sayyid Qutb tells about Divine Law and explains Muslims how to separate the knowledge which should be learned or not and refers to the problems existing in corrupting Muslims by Western opinions nowadays. Ali Abd al-Raziq provides the facts of times of the messenger which are important in understanding Islam. He claims that Islam for everyone who wants to warship Allah.
Sayyid Qutb explain the meaning of Divine Law which covers the entire scheme that God has devise for regulating human life and discusses every corner of life as politics and sociology, economics and justice. He states that a Muslim shouldn’t seek guidance from other sources which are not Divine. It is explained that Muslims are allowed to get knowledge from Muslims and non-Muslims in technology or science and the permission is given based on the words of Muhammad (s.a.w.) “You better understand your worldly affairs”. It is also allowed to investigate the Jahili research but from point of view to ascertain the aberrations committed by them. The author claims that there are two kind of culture gave the background for all the scientific and artistic knowledge according to Islam: Islamic and the Jahili culture. In addition the Islamic period provided the development of Europe’s empirical sciences. Only Islam is a true religion and Muslims shouldn’t follow the Jews and the Christians because they themselves are misguided. The guidance of God is in fact the real guidance. Muslims are obliged to learn the Quran and get knowledge as those who know aren’t equal with those know not. Sayyid Qutb concludes that there is a strong link between the Quran and science of nature. Islamic law contains wide specter of influence among Muslims. The author reports about the efforts of the West and its attitude to shake Islamic faith and concepts.
Alraziq made main points on the problem of caliphate and Arabic culture. This article explains that Islam not only for Arabs even if Muhammad (S.A.W.) was Arab and the Arabs were the first who hear the call from the bearer of both good news and of warning. Allah knows best. The Arab countries with different types of people and clans were gathered in the times of the prophet around Islam and still they call each other brothers. These countries’ culture, rituals, social obligations come from Islam but they still have different political systems and differentiated communities as it was in the times of the prophet (piece be upon him). The prophet (S.A.W.) died without reassigning his position to anyone. However Shi believe that he assigned Ali as his successor over Muslims other group demanded Abu Bakr was appointed by the messenger (peace be upon him)
