Sport is a very important social institution that is present almost in every society. In the arena of the structural behaviors and inter-institutional relationships it holds the possibility to study and realize the complex notion of social life. Along with it, sport provides the opportunity for research of structured conflict and competitiveness in the controlled creations that are not often found in other spheres of social life. Sport settings study such sociological subjects as group dynamics, goal achievement, behavioral process and social bounding. Sport is considered to be one of the most important aspects of people`s healthy lifestyle. However, it is not a secret that some people are too much concerned in sport making it the lifetime project. Sportsmen are eager to do their best in order to reach the top score. But still, there are some circumstances that may prevent even the most talented people from reaching the great success. To become a really successful athlete, one should have a lot of skills and abilities. Undoubtedly, athletes are very strong and agile physically, but it is important for a sportsman to be mentally strong as well, to be quick, to think fast, and to decide what to do and how to do in a clap. Furthermore, having a great coach or trainer is a formula for success, because with the help of such person, one could not only become physically and mentally strong, one could overcome different fears and problems that alone would be impossible to solve.
Being a professional and successful athlete means that one should have to be very strong and in general physically fit to do what is needed in particular kind of sport. It might be either strength or dexterity, or even both of them, as you required being strong and fast. However, it is possible to say that sometimes when athletes want to be the best in their sport, they can use some drugs to improve their performance, or to boost their skills and abilities. Various performance enhancing substances may give you extra speed of beef up one’s muscle, yet it is regarded as cheating and not welcomed in sports. I believe that this is right, because everybody should compete with their own bodies, and not with the help of chemistry and biology. Nevertheless, it is believed that plenty of sportsmen use such sort of drugs to improve their performance, making them almost perfect athletes. For me, sport should be competition among people, not scientists.
Apart from that, one may claim that if a person wants to be a successful athlete, he or she should work up a sweat. Sport is a very hard thing, as everything worth in our life has a rough ride. With the help of exhausting yet effective daily trainings, athletes improve their performance that could cause becoming more successful sportsman. One might say that there is nothing hard in working out or being an athlete, as they just play sports etc. However, not only the physical trainings are hard, yet the dedication to continue training even through pain is a very hard thing and not everybody is capable of doing that.
Experienced coach and well educated trainer could make an athlete very successful. IT is possible to say that most of successful athletic trainers are former athletes, professionals, as well as those who were engaged in sports, thus making it easier to understand through what hardships does the athlete go every day. The athletic trainer should know the human physiology in order to understand how to become not only a coach but a friend to athlete. Such combination would improve sportsman’s performance greatly, as better communication would provide better understanding. Coaches play enormous role in athletes’ lives, they guide them, help and assist them in their hardships and triumph together. Skillful trainer could spark a sportsman to a victory.
