I’ve always sought to take thought leadership, by innovating infrastructure of the society, for a better and fulfilled life. Although, there were many successes and failures in my extended career, it has been, at all times, a valuable and enjoyable working experience in the field, by capturing immense growth opportunities in every company I was employed. Those opportunities included the actual working environment, people, products, customers, and timing.
On the other hand, the knowledge and experience I am striving to obtain towards a brighter future, could be different under the discontinuity of the market. One of the reasons to move the company, recently, although it was incredibly comfortable working in GE, with experienced professionals and having a sustainable growth of the business, is to primarily focus on the Japanese healthcare challenge, under the aging population. The upcoming opportunity to manage the emerging countries in ASEAN, made me feel ready to undertake new responsibilities and help achieve the ultimate progress for the Japanese society. At the same time, I am aware of the unforeseen difficulties and the required transformation of the systems I am going to face.
Thought leadership is important for people around the world and for companies that bring new advances into the existing environments worldwide. In my opinion, this particular innovation in leadership concerns bringing business decision processes in alignment with the company’s current business challenges. The problems facing a company are not inaccessible any longer, and they become the issue to be solved for every party involved. From my vast international experience, thought leadership can originate from both customers and executives. However, these are primarily thought leaders, who are progressive enough to inspire customers. The respective audience gets to know the company through their thought leaders and content they are bringing forward.
In addition, the present company is expecting me to be a successor of the president for the Japanese entity, hence, before taking a big leap forward, I’d like to secure my time to revisit and refresh what I’ve learned through my aforementioned working experience. Being familiar with this company, thought leadership is my preferred way to challenge, and inspire people like me for new ventures, based on existing relationships.
Notably, I believe it would be a substantial practice and, building a global network through this program, plus the vast attractiveness of this program is the interaction between the faculties and students around the world.
I’m positively convinced that those experiences will help my career to make a greater impact for the better society of Japan, and it is my principal dream to accomplish this goal throughout my life.
