External Analysis of Google Company
External analysis of a company entails assessing its environmental influences from the external perspective. For the purpose of analyzing the Google Company, the PEST analysis is essential. It goes a long way to give the correct external perspective of the company.
Politics has influenced the manner Google operates (Girard, 2009). Chinese and American authorities, for instance, obstructed the expansion of the company. This was based on the notion from these governments that Google was a monopoly and as such, it needed to be monitored.
The Social-Cultural aspect also plays a major role. All over the world, individuals are constantly getting competent because of education. Demand and lifestyle have equally changed rapidly. Despite this, Google has managed to note these changes and implement new policies and facilities to stay ahead of the competitors (Girard, 2009). With the development of technology, the company has gone a step ahead releasing its operating system. This has attracted more customers, beating the competition from the rivals.
Technological aspects also favor the Google Company. The communication technology and diffusion of information have promoted integration of ideas and geographic dispersion. The company has also developed web applications, thereby causing a landslide change in technology. These are essential if the company is to say ahead of the competitors. To date, however, the company is well-positioned to remain the powerhouse in the industry.
