Free Essay About Birth Control-Repost
Birth control is the topic that needs addressed at schools. Although we can access materials online and share information they are only informative. When students talk about safe methods of birth control I think these are limited to some of the methods. General understanding is males use condoms during intercourse. Male condoms prevent from getting infections like HIV, AIDS, and unwanted pregnancy. Many teens prefer pills over sophisticated aids of birth control. Minipills or other pills are effective but they can add unwanted weight and some women do not favor them. Also minipills are weak to protect against STIs. At school we have heard about safe sex but still come to ignore some of this. I think especially when using alcohol or drugs teens simply forget about responsibilities and try to enjoy the moment.
Pregnancy is highly unwanted and scary thing to happen to any young female. Neither are prepared for such a moment as they study or work and enjoy life. I think teenage years mean that you are entering the adult world, unprepared and often taking risk. When someone has an older boyfriend they often tempt immature women to have unsafe sex and fun with them. Teens do not know what awaits them and when they discover about pregnancy its maybe too late to have abortion and also they are afraid to tell their parents but boyfriends do not care.
Knowing about safe sex women and men can stay out of pregnancy and be healthy. Yes, birth control costs but everything in life cost as well. If people pay for food, clothes, they can pay for safe sex. If birth control and safety matters during teenage years then later in life it is normalcy.
