Writing in teams has the advantage that people get to share ideas. Different members bring different ideas and with this you can learn from each other. As different people share their ideas, decision making is made easier.
Also when people write in teams, different perspectives are viewed while the goal of the team is the main focus. As the different solutions to a problem are suggested, it is easier for those who have accepted the solution to convince the rest of the team members to accept the solution.
When people write as a team, the performance is increased. Since people get new ideas, it helps in creativity hence high performance. A team is more likely to yield a better result for a complex problem than an individual who is believed to be the best (Button et al. 1996).
Working in a team also has its disadvantages. If you are the leader of the team, sometimes you can be forced to take decisions due to the pressure from the members. It does not matter whether it is the right decision or not but because the members want it, you have to go with it.
Also while writing as a team, some of the members have private agendas like taking over the leadership and undermining other members of the team. Some members of the team may not participate but they get a credit at the end. Most of the team members may not give their ideas during the discussion yet when credit is given; they are counted as part of the team.

It is therefore good to write as a team since it has more benefits than writing as an individual.

This is to inform you that on the letter you received earlier about the problems that we will face in shipping, we have come up with strategies to help reduce some persistence from the locals hence affecting our shipping program.
Before the shipment starts we are all aware that the locals will resist this program since we will close the highway and we will be using other routes in shipping, it will cause congestion on roads. To avoid that we have to come up with a good team to send to the locals so as to enlighten them on the importance of shipping, benefits it will bring to them and that their people will benefit by being employed.
The group will be sent to the routs that will be used and help in that exercise of telling the locals our intention and also ask them to give hand in it since they will benefit from that shipping. We have come up with the people who will be sent to the field alongside their responsibilities that they will perform while there.
Once all this is done the local members will not be able to resist any more since we have joined them to the exercise and that we have made them understand the importance of this shipping.
Finally the police will be assigned the route to clear the disabled vehicles from the road and the trucks will observe the speed limit of Indonesia while on the alternative route.
