Working together as a team or group has a lot of advantages though sometimes working as an individual is also necessary. Teamwork can maximize the effectiveness of an organization by improving performance. Collaboration can raise the efficiency, level of morale, customer service, expertise, initiative, creativity, planning and learning. This leads to more motivated individuals and more effective performance, a sense of ownership by everyone and better results and ultimately more profits (Debbe, 2008).
The process of research will begin by exploring the research idea and constructing the search. This will begin by choosing a topic that is not too narrow or too broad in scope. This will be done by using reference sources, consulting other sources, stating the topic as a question and identification of the main concepts. The next step would be finding background information. This is done by learning more about the field of study that is significant to the focus area; this will help in creating a more effective search. Background information will provide summaries that will help establish the vocabulary, context and important people in the different fields. Conducting further in-depth background information from specialized sources will give more detailed information. This provides more specific information relating to your subject such as collections of previously completed writings or research, historical perspectives and a different opinion on the subject matter. The other step would be to locate current research; these include periodicals or other scholarly articles.
The process, of identifying findings, will begin by a stakeholders’ analysis. This will clearly indicate all possible stakeholders with an interest in the workplace environment. The workplace gap will be identified by comparing the desired situation and the future and then finding out how the gap in the workplace can be closed. This will be done by use of self-report questionnaires.
