The growth of leaders at PepsiCo is attributable to the existence of comprehensive leadership development strategy that promotes numerous levels of action learning, self and peer assessments, apprenticeship programs for the development of leaders on vertical and horizontal grounds. 360 degree feedback plays a significant role in competency development and personal appraisal agenda. Self-awareness and growth, cultural intelligence, and Gardner’s Five Minds emerged as significant elements in building organizations leadership competencies. RC Cola exists distantly from PepsiCo, if comparative leadership analysis is made and hence it needs to incorporate strategic notions to grow their leaders worldwide.
