Many people believe; joining military at 18 years old for a minimum amount of 2 years is not a good idea due to several reasons such as age, amount of time and others yet to my point of view, one should join military at this, as it may seem, early age.
The main reason I agree with the following topic is serving at military, despite being a teenager, makes one encounters with very hard decisions. Being at this early stage of life you receive a vast and priceless life experience such as discipline and independence that can be used in the future. This particular experience will be helpful when worked in a company. For instance when facing much stress such as deadlines yet no problem will he\she has because of already learned independency and discipline. Some people think 18 is very early age for military because participants are still kids and are inexperienced with life which make them weak and not ready to encounter the real life in military. But to my strong belief this is exactly why a person should serve, to receive and to encounter these scary issues of life. Furthermore I was motivated to join military after having seen a movie about WWII which depicted men as heroes because of their strong dedication and patriotism to their country, which is why many others want to be one of those heroes too!
In conclusion, I strongly believe 18 is a good age for joining military because one would still have 2 years or even more to contemplate what to do in this life. Nothing is better than joining this school of life or to be précised - military.
