Henry Ford and Ford industry:
Henry Ford was the founder of Ford motor company. Henry Ford was the man who introduced the production at massive level (Shmoop Editorial Team). Ford was the person known as the most prominent citizen and had strong position in social affairs. Henry Ford designed a model T for the mass level production of mechanized assembly line (Rosenberg n.p). Hence he was not only the founder of Ford industry but also the founder of mass level production of auto mobiles.
Ford industry brought the great revolution in the American industry. Ford production was done at mass production level, so wages of the workers were high. High wages at mass level production was the reason behind the revolution of the industry (Shmoop Editorial Team). Hence Ford industry brought a great change in the trend of auto mobile industries.
People who demand modifications and who don’t:
As the first model of the Ford that was bought by the customer was model A made in 1903. It was the first model of the car that reliable. Since 1903, Ford officially started to make the cars that were reliable. But as time passed, different companies started to make new models that were more attractive and were not so costly so mind of the people changed and hence people started to divert their minds and thought to buy new and different models.
Furthermore, likes of the people changed with the passage of time. In the beginning, Ford was the leader and had niche market. But soon their customers had lost interest as they demanded changes in their automobiles with the passage of time and found the same changes in other cars of different manufacturers (Rosenberg n.p). Hence to take over the position of niche market from other manufacturers, Ford modified its cars for the customers.
On the other hand, when Ford started to make the racing cars, people who belonged to middle class and were the owners of the low cost Ford cars and couldn’t afford the new models of the Ford cars, they lost interest and started to think about cars that were other than racing cars and hence due to loss in interest, they stopped demanding about the modification in the previous cars (Rosenberg n.p).
Hence different categories of the people exist so there are different views about the Ford. Some people who can afford the modifications still demand for the modifications and who can’t afford the racing cars lose interest and start to look around to look around for the other economical option.
