The goal of Literature Circles Resource Centre is to improve and guide teachers of literary circles in educating literature creatively and flexibly to students. The website believes that there is ‘no recipe’ or formula to teach literature to circles, because its methods changes over time. The articles in the LCRC guides the teachers on how to facilitate the circles in the manner that it encourages the students to reflect and engage in critical thinking as they respond to books.
The information in the LCRC website is very educational and progressive. This method of teaching is more fluid than methodologies prescribed by the old school way of teaching literature circles. The website even provided a chart to help teachers see how circles evolve and improve over time. The method is a dialectical and scientific approach in teaching literature. I will definitely try applying the LCRC’s teaching strategy in literary circles assigned to me.

The Florida Center for Reading Research website was established to aide students and teachers in looking for reading materials on literacy. The website includes a user-friendly search engine that contains all the readings ready to be downloaded with just a click. FCRR website also provides instructional materials for teachers and shares updated research projects that aim to improve the policies and practices of literacy in Florida and the whole country.
This website is not just useful for teachers teaching reading and literacy, but also a great tool for students to practice their researching skills and do their reviews. The website is user-friendly, organized and systematized that it is very easy for anyone to find whatever material they are looking for. The search engine is supported by legends of icons that describe what kind of reading material the items are and what format they should be opened with. Assigning homework to students would be easy using FRCC’s search tool.
