For my computer, I have installed McAfee antivirus software for protecting my PC against spying software and viruses. I have installed McAfee Total Protection for protecting the data and identity of my device so it cannot be harmed in any way. The software updates on its own and is quite user-friendly. There is also McAfee Internet Security, which is anti-virus software that protects windows from viruses and has necessary web safety tools for safe browsing. The benefit of this software is its automatic updating ability where whenever it needs updating, it notifies me and I can always update the edition so that my computer is kept safe from viruses and spyware. Similarly, mobile phones require software for protection against viruses and potentially threatening spyware on the internet. For android phones, 360 security, CM security software, Avast! Mobile Security by Google Play, ESET Mobile security & Antivirus and many others such as McAfee are also recommended software. I have been an attack of a virus on my computer, which occurred because of outdated antivirus. I lost some of my files and data and had a problem accessing the internet. The solution to it was getting my Windows reinstalled and keeping antivirus software updated.
As far as the U.S has progressed technologically, the abuse of technology is a major issue. There are some dissident elements in society that misuse technology and create unrest or blackmail targets for personal reasons. After cyberbullying and child pornography, restrictions must be imposed on the misuse of photographs taken from mobile phones or cameras. Also, the use of security cameras and hidden cams for secretly filming and blackmailing others must also be restricted.
