I kindly ask for your consideration to allow me major in Information Systems. As a business student, who loves innovation, have grown up with the hope that I will one day bring a change in the sector by coming up with new ideas and inventions. Taking information systems as a course is my passion, and I believe that if consirdered you won't regret the decision. Am passionate about taking information system as it offers plenty of opportunities to us students especially in the corporate world. By taking advantage and majoring in information system, i will have opportunities such as ATIP meetings, interaction with guest speakers from that field and attending some of the professional meetings that will enable me equip myself with the necessary skills required in the job market. Since most organizations and businesses in the world depend on information systems in order to carry out their activities, i believe I am one of the able individuals who can revolutionize the field as it offers most of the job opportunities. As a freshman, I had problems adjusting with the environment within the institution, and that probably could have led to my poor results thus not meet the upper division GPA. The way, i led my life and the peers around me, could also have contributed to my poor grades since I never planned my study timetable and rarely went to class. It is unfortunate that I could not realise the importance of education but now am a changed student. Due to my deteriorating grades I was taken through a counselling session and must testify I have changed. I now take my studies seriously and plan my timetable that I follow to the latter as that will help me improve my grades.
