The art of Fetishism of Commodities and Machinery affects the social lives and behavior given that they directly affect the capitalism. There have been appearances and disappearances of these commodities. In addition, the fetish of the commodities appears at particular times based on the social needs and disappears after a period of application. Some of the products for the study include paintings as described by Robinson and the recruiters’ machinery from Rosado (Robinson, 2007). These paintings also included the Kings painting by Velazquez and the Napoleon paintings that lead the army over the Elps as described by Kehinde Wiley. The ideas of Cleaver that addresses a political reading on the line of political economics will require consideration. In addition, analysis will incorporate ideas from the Marx theory and other theories of fetishism of commodity and machinery (Kharibian, 2006). As such, the attention on the question of the link between the fetishized categories of conformist economics acquires satisfactory attention relating the veracity of the capitalist social relationships and the class struggle.
The painting works of Michael Faults appeared in the early ‘60s where the paintings of the different features in the surrounding had a representation. The preservation of images of human beings was in the form of paintings. Animal paintings were also popular to show the community culture and tastes of the environments (Wiley, 2006). Such images are still present in the orders of things from the archeology of human paintings. The paintings incorporated black and white paintings only. However, these paintings did not last for long. Their disappearance paved way for the colored paintings appearing in great popularity in the community. The changes in these trends were dependent on the correlation of the evolution of the state of an economy. Most of the community members had general hypothetical understanding the evolution theory of the economy in correlation to these struggles and the biological connection with the capitalist relation of work.
Napoleon leading the army of the Alps portrays a description of paintings. There is an expression that paintings represent the world occupied by the people at the present. Different types of paintings in the history appeared to at different times in the history as Napoleon describes. The portrait features of the society revealed through the paintings, imitating the posture of the community (Robinson, 2007). The changes in political and the economic trends govern the success of the paintings described causing disappearances after critics of such practices. Political criticism may also challenge a social practice as indicated by Napoleon.
Marx expresses his ideas in the typical political economy in the opening of the opportunity to expose the conflicts of the capitalist mode of production. He believed that this ability exists in the fact that the classics base their analysis on Vale, which he defines as a definite social mode of existence of human activity referred as labor (Marx and Tom, 2013). Although the classics specifically Ricardo through their emphasis on value, they enable them to focus on labor, hence opening the means for the exploration of the social dimension of forms capitalism. As such, the handling of labor is inadequate for a full understanding of the nature of the capitalist social affairs and their forms of appearance.
On the other side, David Ricardo forces economic scrutiny to the face the starting point for the psychology of the bourgeois system. The step is essential for the understanding of its internal organic coherent and the determination of life processes in the determination of value by labor- time. The determination is vital, but it is not sufficient for a proper understanding of social relations within capitalism as well as technological progress (Blaung, 2010). However, the examination he conducts neglects to address the two interrelated inquiries: one that respects the investigation of the vital character of free enterprise and the other the examination of its manifestations of appearance.
The fact concerning the end goal helps in the comprehension what is in question in Marx's feedback, thus important to turn to Marx’s class about what kind of labor does yield value. The criticism by Marx provides a suggestion on the character of labor that has a value revealed in the Marx’s criticism of Ricardo himself. His mistake is that he is mainly concerned only with the magnitude of value but the labor embodied must has a presentation in the form of a social labor as alienated individual labor. Marx's meaning of theoretical work installs an origination of the industrialist connection as a class connection of work, where work is forced, distanced, and vast in character (Marx and Tom, 2013). These three social qualities of the work constitute the peculiar capitalist character of labor.
The theory of Rubin and Mark are essential for the interpretation and a complete survey of theory of fetishism. The preferred author is Rubin because he has stressed the significance of theories of fetishism. In his Essays, Rubin contributed on considering Marx’s theory of value and that of fetishism as interlinked. His contribution is crucial because it broke a silence in the Marxist literature on the subject. In addition, it expressively connects his talk on the economy with that on society, the universe of items and the relationships between creations. As such, wages, and cost profit get attention as economic categories of the commodity fetishism.
Marx explains that the wages of the workers wage are the price of labor because a certain quantity of money paid for certain labor (Marx and Tom, 2013). Therefore, it allows to the antagonism obscure inherent in the labor relationship by allowing all labor to appear as paid labor. Marx says that this appearance is at the basis of all the concepts of justice held by a worker and the capitalist, all the confusions of the capitalist mode of production, all capitalism’s impression about freedom. As such, the wage form mostly makes the real relation invisible.
The definition of the cost price is an expenditure of capital advanced by the capitalist. A clear form appears on the surface of the society. The first logical step is the general formula for the cost price. The aim is usually to provide the direction of understanding a given phenomenal form of an economic category in the light to the existing connectivity to the capitalist relationships of production.
Therefore, it is clear that the appearance and disappearance have been part of the social lives. Different authors provided evident to appearances and disappearances, covering the paintings and the hunting equipments. The work of Marx is critique of the political economy and his emphasis on commodity fetishism and value. His interpretation has aided in the derivation of some main methodological points useful to inform the present radical analysis of economics (Marx and Tom, 2013).
