Forest Products Ltd will develop and maintain documented reactive and proactive occupational goals for the health and safety measures in its operations. Forest Products Ltd will also develop and maintain an efficient Objectives Achievement Plan that will outline the provisions and ways of achieving these objectives.
Responsibilities
The following will be the responsibilities of the following positions in Forest Products:
President: Needs to ensure health and safety policies and procedures are efficient, and incidents occurring should be reported to take effective preventive measures in due time.
Production Manager: To ensure high and quality production of wood table tops and counters in a safe environment for workers and equipment.
Health and Safety Manager: They provide health and safety policies and procedures and programs are followed accurately. Also, ensure the workers use personal protective equipment. They train the workers, new workers goes through induction, site rules and regulation. Formulate permits such as hot work permit, working at height permit and many others.
Health and Safety Committee: They carry out an inspection to identify all healthy and safety risks and come up with mitigation measure. They carry out tool box meeting on health and safety with the workers.

The annual goal for the Forest Products Ltd is to provide Health and Safety environment for all the employees.
The principle objective of Forest Products Ltd is to provide training on policies and procedures of health and safety. Also, ensuring that the workers put on correct personal protective equipment.
The proactive objective of Forest Product Ltd is to improve the Health and Safety policies, procedures and programs.
The reactive objective is to use the Health and Safety Committee as a measure of achievement. All these achievements should come through proactive measures for all the possible health and safety risks by training the workers and ensuring the use of personal protective gears.
The Objectives Achievement Plan will include performance evaluation of occurrences of incidences within the company by the Committee after every month. The assessments will help reduce the accidents or incidents that might occur in future. Kinds of evaluation will be dossier evaluations; that conducts compliance checks and testing proposal examinations. In addition, substance evaluation; health and safety committee undertakes assessments on materials that could pose a risk to the manufacturers and the human health or the environment. Amendments will involve the Committee and will involve the employees.
