Bill Schule’s managerial skills are quite excellent looking at the way he handled the sexual harassment issue in which two of his employees engaged in while serving in the firm. One will notice that as Randal walks to the office, he is clearly agitated he tries to calm the situation regardless of the fact that he seems to be attempting to come into proper understanding with the manager. Bill still stood by his word by ensuring that Randal recognizes the magnitude of his actions and the possible outcomes. One can only solve a conflict through acknowledging that the conflict exists, the same way Bill recognizes even before other employees report to work. A well trained manager knows how to identify a conflict and set for ways to solve the conflict. He understands the way issues are handled through informing the human resource department of the organization before taking further actions. On top of his good deeds, he could have allowed for a third meeting after listening to both parties separately. He could have called for a joint meeting as their supervisor to see the possible ways of looking for an amicable solution. The primary reason to ensure proper management of employees is to ensure that production of the firm does not go down.In conclusion, Schule understands that conflicts have to be handled as soon as they arise; that is why he expresses disappointment in Randal for allowing such a satiation to have gone on for the long period. The situation went too far as reaching a threat of a harassment suit. Most importantly, he managed to communicate to an employee who was disturbed and was able to convince him.
