Indeed, this class has taught us a lot of concepts concerning training, human resource, and business strategies. I concur with this post that a company strategy can be used to establish a successful development and training program. Thus, it is comparatively paramount for an organization to identify apparently effective business strategies in order to guarantee that the development and training programs boost the company to attain its set targets. To add to this post is that the company must have skilled and trained expertise to ensure that the programs are implemented in the right approach.
It is true to say that needs assessment acts as a tool to establish whether training in necessary in a company. As such, a needs assessment is used to determine the necessity of undertaking employee training and development in a company (Noe p.22). Again, I accept that there are various ways to determine needs assessment. These include; online platforms, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, focus groups and observations. What this post did not cover needs assessment is a tool that human resource managers used to manage the smooth flow of activities in a company. Nonetheless, the needs assessment is relatively important for a business to grow and attain considerable profits.
Learning organizations as per the lessons gained in class is where a company is still trying to capture necessary for development. I agree with you that it is through learning and sharing that employees in a company improve their skills, knowledge and ideas regarding essential elements in the company. To add to this post is that this learning technique is relatively risk for a company, and it is possible that a company can make real losses. Truly, this class was quite enjoyable. I like the idea of attending or taking more HR classes. Indeed, HR is a pillar of any business.
