Laws relating to foods and tariffs in France
I wish to export food products from United States to France. The law relating to the exportation of the product in France imposes a given rate of import tariffs. France is a member of European Union that has a Community Integrated Tariff (TARIC) system. Importation of goods from a non-member such as U.S. attracts moderate duties. For instance, exportation of raw materials to France is not subject to any levy. However, manufactured goods such as pharmaceuticals products attract a levy of between 5 to 7 per cent (Trade regulations in France all).
In addition, there is VAT rates for importing items into the nation that attracts a rate of 10% to 20%. Ideally, this means that when exporting pharmaceuticals from US to France I will be subject to both import duty and VAT rates. On the other hand, the packaging of products exported in France should use the French language. In addition, the packaging should also show the list of all components, name and address of the vendor not forgetting the usage instructions. These are some of the laws that I need to focus on in order to export food products to France (Trade regulations in France all).
Common cultural activities in France and their impacts to importation
The common cultural activities important in France include music, drama, arts and museums. Such activities are organized throughout the year by the ministry of culture. The main aim of such activities is to bring together the people of France to celebrate holidays and other important days of their choice. This is to mean that in order for a foreign country to succeed in product advertisement in France needs to incorporate French music or artwork. Most of the France products are packaged using blue colour since it is the most common colour in the nation. Ideally, this means that it is very important to focus on using blue colour in packaging products to be exported to France (Halls all).
