It is interesting to see how the company has been able to take into consideration issues of environment and the surrounding population in the design of their factory and work processes to avoid inconveniences in the city. The factory design is in such a way that people or tourists can actually see cars being built. Furthermore, the company has gone a step further to include potential owners in the making of their cars.

The robotic transportation system is used to provide and transport parts within the factory. It functions based on a magnetic guidance system that is embedded in the Canadian marble floor. Additionally the floor also provides power to tools and intelligent systems that are used in the making of the parts. Implementation of the robotic transportation system in a facility would require the proper installation of a magnetic system beneath the marble floors.

Conveyance system

A conveyance belt system is built on the floor and moves slowly through the factory in a big loop. The production line in the factory rests on the conveyance belt system. Additionally, a suspended conveyance system moves cars around the factory. The car can be rotated and placed at different angles. This allows each worker to handle their responsibilities on each car with ease as the car parts are moved around the factory.
