The Conventional and Investigative themes are the two main Occupational Themes that I believe most accurately reflect my work personality because I have strong penchant for research, abstract mathematical problems and analytics. Furthermore, I strongly endorse the liberty and independence with ample curiosity towards experimental learning and continuous improvement. In addition, I also agree with the ‘Enterprising’ theme because of my rapidly increasing interest towards leadership and entrepreneurship due to my bold, risk-taking, expressive and independent nature. However, I am not such a strong marketer and thus I need to develop persuasive and direct selling dimension from a marketing perspective as it is essential to transform oneself into a successful entrepreneur.
As far as my Personal Style Scales Preferences are concerned, I agree with the fact that I prefer a balance of working alone and working with people. Previously, I always enjoyed the role of independent contributor but now I have been changing my approach to become a more dynamic team player and team leader to unlock new avenues of career advancement and prosperity for which teamwork is a prerequisite. Indeed, It is also true that I prefer to learn by doing and replicating what I have learnt during class and job trainings. Nonetheless, I am a sociable and humble person who prefers to communicate, coordinate, cooperate, collaborate, counsel, motivate and lead in real life than being aloof and detached. Also, I agree that I am risk-taker due to my bold instance towards life but believe in calculated risks and decisions due to my innate analytical and number crunching desire. Unequivocally, this strategy always helps me averting any possibility of losses because I tend to negate not only overambitious attitude and overconfidence but also overcautious approach, which is equally pernicious for a performance-oriented and fast forwarding person.
The names of two occupations of the Top Ten Strong Occupations that I might be interested in researching further are chef and production worker. The reason for learning more about chef’s job is to explore the hidden cook inside me. Indeed, I have remained a hardcore food lover who not only cooks at home but also eat out at restaurants actively to meet this internal passion of trying food delicacies. The production worker is another interesting job that I aim to learn because it provides new opportunities to understand operational technicalities and supply chain system, and thus will enable to grasp valuable insights about production processes and their on-the-field analytical tools.
Although I agree with the accuracy of results pertaining to Occupational themes such as Conventional, Investigative and Enterprising but I strongly feel that I am also high on Social theme because of inclination towards teamwork, counseling, cooperation and care for social causes. Moreover, I also agree with the results of Personal Style Scale Preferences and Top Five Interest Areas that exactly matched my preferences except the only result of ‘Military’, which is indeed not my area of interest. Out of the Top Ten Strong Occupations, I have no real interest in the jobs of Radiologic Technologist and Military Enlisted because they are completely irrelevant to my career focus and preferences. Other than the few aforementioned disagreements between Strong findings and my actual interests, I formally agree with the overall results of the Strong that truly reflect my work personality, aspirations, preferences, motives, values and potential skills.
