Free Stud Poetry Essay Sample

The game is quite intriguing in term of the title “Stud Poetry”. It should be measured a game because it is exhibited after an electronic poker game. The single dissimilarity between “Stud Poetry” and poker is the fact that poker applies numbers whereas the other utilizes words. It is indicated in the introductory part that when one turns out to be a master in playing the game, one need to have confidence in the power of words and that words can move thoughts, souls and mountains. However, as the game push forward, I never felt its power. It’s also quite bizarre to have ever compared it to literature. It does not possess any inclination to the real essence of literature. Literature means written works, especially those reflected of superior or long-lasting artistic value. The artistic value is not indicated in the game, but I would not deny that it is an imaginative concept. As a final point, “Stud Poetry” is just fairly a game not a member of electronic literature simply for the logical reason that it does not conform to the meaning of literature (Boyles, 2013). It is just a variation of poker that integrates words as an alternative of numbers, and it is unlikely to brand it as literature just because it incorporates words. Moreover, the incorporated words seemed deficient in terms of style and communication and therefore it is definitely cannot be associated with electronic literature.
On the other hand, the other game by Jason Nelson, “Nothing You Have Done Deserves Such Praise’ reveals a self-effacing consciousness of its imaginary view as just one more artsy game (Jones, 2013). It has also quite an intriguing title but when one starts to play, the name knocks with a drowsy scepticism or uncertainty that would somehow direct the player to boredom. Nevertheless, it is also undeniable that the creativity of the one who made this is quite expansive as it is reflected in the game itself. However, there are several features to not make it seeming conventional that the creator has to improve into it.
