Yes, United States government is taking uncompromising steps to reduce unemployment as it can be observed that the difference between reported unemployment and actual un- employment remained at a constant level ever since 1994.Additionally, government is seeking the steps to reduce and sustain poverty rate which is on a decline since 2006. For this reason, Americans are getting safe environment, fiscal relief, new jobs and more facilities as the unemployment rate dominantly affects the poverty rate in the short run.
What’s your opinion for this decline in poverty?
In my opinion, the decline in poverty is due to strict changes in the labor market, more globalization and technological changes that ultimately contributed their share to the poverty reduction.
Do you believe this will continue?
As soon as current policies and strategies will continue for unemployment, this reduction in the poverty rate may continue, in the long run.
Is the China’s economy really the largest in the world?
International Monetary Fund (IMF) has flagged up the critical indicator of China’s economy. These calculations and conclusions are based on the figures by taking purchasing power parity (PPP), which shows actual comparison of how much a country can buy in different countries with its money. Additionally, the greatest economic news was the PPP of China that passed the U.S economy for the first time in the international trade. What's more, it is estimated that the Chinese economy has worth of $ 17.6 tn, which is little higher than the U.S economic worth, announced by IMF. This is the very first time in the history after 1872 that United States economic worth stands behind China.
The Chinese economy is now worth $17.6tn, slightly higher than the $17.4tn, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) estimates for the US. The IMF calculated and projected figures sort out more value for China than America.
Do you think its short-term gain or a long term success?
There are dual opinions about the arguments but in my outlook, China will hold the position for the short time as various forecasts signify this marker. Also, there are many reasons for it. First of all, IMF figures that forecast more financial growth for China than USA in coming years. Secondly, IMF figures are based on PPP-based calculations and lastly there is negligible difference of the economic worth, i.e. $17.6tn of China and $ 17.4 of U.S.
Additionally, U.S has sustained the top mark for more than142 years which holds a great history of efforts, for this reason China may not be proficient to match that record so easily. In addition to this long-term monetary forecasts from the IMF and other organizations indicate that India may pass the both countries in the coming next years.
